CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CONTORTION

Conditioning drills to increase range of motion and active flexibility in shoulders, hips, legs and back. Open level course, for anyone who wants to improve their overall flexibility. Instruction for contortion positions including but not limited to: bridges, forearm stands, chest stands and needlescales.

Handbalancing

Learn the basics of balancing on your hands. Drills and conditioning exercises to build strength, flexibility and coordination. You will try new positions and manipulate your body in different inverted positions. No experience necessary.

Lyrical Pole

Each fortnight you will learn a new lyrical choreography, on the pole. Low flows, beautiful transitions and lyrical style dance. Both a strength and cardio workout, have fun while learning a gorgeous flowing routine each week, all levels

Pole Choreography

A sensual style routine will be taught every second week using the pole and floor. Focus on body movement, transitions and musicality. Build strength and endurance while dancing your heart out! Heels and kneepads required, open level.

Splits Bootcamp

Strength and flexibility program for all levels, targeted at deepening your splits. Leg and Hip mobility is pivotal for pole dancers and aerialists, and requires regular practice. Add this to your weekly routine in order to improve your overall form both on and off the pole!

BEG/INT POLE CHOREO

A new sensual style routine will be taught every second week using the pole and floor. Focus on body movement, transitions and musicality. Build strength and endurance while dancing your heart out! Heels and kneepads required. Beginner to intermediate level, must have completed at least one term of regular beginners pole.

I.S.A. (Inverts, Shouldermounts, Ayeshas)

High intermediate to Advanced level skills class, focusing on inverted positions. Drills, skills and combinations. Build strength and body awareness on the pole.

1 hour/week

INVERTING BOOTCAMP

Open level conditioning course. Conditioning drills to help achieve inversions (going upside down) on the pole.

1 hour/week

PRETTY SPIN POLE COMBOS

Learn combinations on spinning pole that are not taught on the regular syllabus. Work on shape emphasis and fluidity in order to 'stylise' your movement. Suitable for high intermediate and above. 

1 hour/week

BASEWORK CHOREO

Choreography class that incorporates acrobatic skills on the floor and base of the pole. Build strength, flexibility and body awareness and have fun through dance. Suitable for intermediate and above.

LEVELLED POLE COURSES

Understand the fundamentals of pole dance. Learn pole technique, skills and combinations. Each level (except beginners) has a list of 'pre requisites' which can be found on the pre requisites page.

LEVELLED LYRA COURSES

Understand the fundamentals of aerial hoop (a.k.a. Lyra). Learn pole technique, skills and combinations. Each level (except beginners) has a list of 'pre requisites' which can be found on the pre requisites page.
